Howe Road Water Main Vault
The project involves the construction of a concrete vault at the end of the
City’s water main at the Mogadore and Howe Road Intersection. The project will be
designed by the City of Kent Engineering staff.
The City sold the southerly portion of the water main to the City of
Tallmadge in 1998. The vault will provide for valve maintenance, metering and
flushing at the City’s now dead end main.
In the event of an emergency, this connection point could be used to
provide a backup water source to either municipality.
