The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the management
and maintenance of all lands or buildings owned by the City for park
or recreation purposes. They are funded primarily by tax levies and
supplemented by program fees.
All recreation programs are handled through this Department. Rental
of park facilities may be arranged through this Department also.
The Park and Recreation Director is be appointed by the Parks
and Recreation Board and reports directly to them.
