The Board of Health is created in accordance with Kent City Charter Chapter 66(A).  The Board of Health for the City is composed of six (6) members, to be appointed by Council. One of the members of the Board shall be a Councilperson appointed on an annual basis by Council. The remaining five members shall serve a term of office of five (5) years and the expiration of these terms shall be on a two year staggered interval basis. No member of the Board shall serve more than two (2) full terms consecutively. The Health Commissioner shall serve as ex-officio, non-voting member of this Board.)
